I originally created this script to monitor Taxware process 'jboss' but then decided to make it less specific.
This script only checks 3 status:
OK
Critical
Unknown
Copy the plugin in the nagios plugins directory.
Usage: ./check_process_running.sh SERVICE PROCESS_NAME
Example of Usage:
command[check_taxware]=/usr/lib64/nagios/plugins/check_process_running.sh jboss Taxware
Output:
Taxware OK - jboss is Running
Make sure Nagios user is allowed to access the plugin (use chmod to make it readable by Nagios user)
